The dress version is the perfect secret pyjama dress! It looks smart enough for the office or a party but it’s also comfy enough for relaxing at home. This version features a knee length dress, with optional pockets or waist tie. You can choose to make it with or with out sleeves, or add cuffs to the sleeveless version for an extra touch.

Or make the tunic length with sleeves in snuggly brushed-back sweat for weekend warmth. The tunic length also features optional pockets (big enough to hold almost anything!) and a waist band. It finishes just below the hips.

For ultimate comfort, pair your cosy jersey dress with the Action Pack leggings!

This pattern is perfect for beginners.

Recommended Fabrics

Beginners- Cotton elastane, interlock jersey, ponti roma, french terry work well for the dress version. Or try a snuggly brushed back sweat or fleece for the tunic.

Sharp fabric scissors, ballpoint jersey needle, sewing machine with a stretch stitch or narrow zigzag stitch, sharp pins, basic sewing tools, Useful: Pattern weights, overlocker, coverstitch machine

It is vitally important, when sewing your own clothes, to take accurate measurements of your body, and not rely on the sizing you expect to buy on the high street. For this pattern we have opted to use sizing XS-XXL, which approximately covers UK sizes 8-24. Measure yourself first to choose the right size for you!
