  • This course does not focus on fitting, but it will provide foundation knowledge and skills for you to start re-designing commercial patterns and making your own patterns. 

    You will learn pattern making and alteration skills like dart manipulation which are essential for perfecting the fit of your garments.

  • This course will provide foundational knowledge and skills for you to start re-designing commercial patterns and making your own patterns. 

    Our in-person retreats focus on making your own block to fit you and then using that to start making your own patterns. You will also learn essential skills to adapt commercial patterns to fit your body better.

    Learning to make patterns and fit in conjunction is the ideal combination so if you are coming on an in-person retreat I would strongly recommend taking this online course to provide a foundation for your learning.
